Hey! I'm Madeleine Clarkson and I am in Grade 8 at École Glenbrook Middle School in New Westminster, BC. Ever since I went to We Day (http://weday.freethechildren.com) in September of 2010, it has been my dream to travel to Kenya on a Me to We trip. And I am going in the summer of 2012.There, I will build a school brick by brick and experience their way of life.
Can you imagine not going to school? It's such a big part of our lives that usually we just take it for granted. But some children in Africa have never even had an education. This is the reason I'm going on this trip. To help others.
Until the end June of 2012, I will be fundraising. My goal is to raise $6000.00, which includes my airfare and vaccinations. Right now, I am having an ongoing fundraiser selling Me to We t-shirts! And remember, if you buy a t-shirt through me, you will save on average 10$ per t-shirt, but some you save more.
